Chop, Chop Chop. Tremolo is the changing of volume of your signal at a certain frequencies. Most will have a 'depth' knob to let you control the amount of volume your signal drops to. A deep Square-wave will give you hard chops in your sounds like a helicopter. A soft Sine-wave can make you feel like your floating calmly in the open ocean.
