Flanger

Take your sound, double it, reverse the phase of one and play it oh so slightly later. Back in the day you needed 3 tape machines to get some flange, now a pedal the size of your hand will do it and much more. Use it is sparingly for some thickening of your tone or crank it up for that sound of a jet landing through your amp!
