If you're reading this, it means our team has officially switched off and is enjoying a well-deserved break after one of the busiest periods our industry has ever seen. Like regular civilians, we are currently recharging our batteries, eating our weight in festive food, and pretending not to think about work until the New Year rolls around.
Yes, we do have a skeleton crew heroically holding down the fort and delivering events during this time. But let me be clear: they are tasked with making magic happen, not handling emails. So please, only reach out if it’s absolutely mission-critical.

Be assured that we are fully compliant with current legislation and are experienced at dealing with safety requirements and documentation as required by venues and event managers.
Our safety record is exemplary. We have never lost a single man-hour due to event related accidents.
We have $20M Public Liability Coverage, additional $20M Third Party Property Insurance for our motor vehicles, and all work is conducted COVID-Safe. We have implemented COVID-Safe prep and deprep practices, and contactless delivery services are available if required.
Any jobs that have been confirmed and booked are considered billable in their entirety at the time of confirmation by the hirer.
Cancellations after this point of either the entire job, or individual components of the job will be charged at 100% full rate if cancelled within 48 hours of the job start time / 50% rate if cancelled within 72 hours of the job start time.
All weekend job start times are considered to be the Friday at 10:00am.
We require all hires to have a Pre-Authorization on your Credit Card on collection of the job. This Pre- Authorization will act as your security deposit, only to be charged if/when hires are returned late, or to charge for damages. The amount to be authorized isA Fixed Amount of $200.00.
Pre-Authorization amounts are set aside by your credit card company for up to 14 days and will temporarily affect your available funds balance or spending limit.
Payment for all hires must be made with aCredit Card Only, after the Pre-Auth charge has been approved. WE DO NOT ACCEPT payment for hires via any other method (Debit Cards not accepted).
Your authority is required to allow Deluxe Guitars & Backline Hire to debit your credit card for payment due. Please complete this Credit Card Authority and email the scanned .pdf/.doc toaccounts@deluxeaudio.com.au.

Deluxe Audio are no longer operating in the Live Audio Production space. We plan to focus solely on Deluxe Guitars & Backline Hire. The equipment listed in this inventory list is available immediately.
In collaboration with our industry partners, due to the rising costs in running all aspects of a Small/Medium Business, we have made some changes to our hire pricing policies for Artist Discounts/Endorsements.
Single-Day hires are not applicable for Artist Discount.
Multi-Day/Touring hires are applicable for discounts on a sliding scale (from 20% to 40% depending on the length of the booking).
