Derived from a vintage fuzz unit, The overdriven tones from the Tursas stand alone in the overdrive market. For years guitarist have rolled back their guitar's volume knobs while using fuzz pedals, and have produced very distinctive and highly sought after overdrive tones. The Tursas was developed to harness that sound, without the loss of high end harmonics and volume associated with that practice. The result is an extremely natural Medium gain overdrive/distortion pedal. With its vintage sounds and rich harmonics, Tursas is bound to find a spot on your pedalboard. The Tursas is equipped with 4 controls. VOLUME- controls the overall output volume CURRENT- while you could think of this as your gain control, it is not simply a gain control. The current knob will allow you to control the amount of voltage you are sending to the circuit. This gives you more/less volume, different dynamics, will change the EQ responses, and gives you vastly different sounds throughout the sweep. HIGHS- controls the amount of high end frequencies within the tone section. LOWS- controls the amount of low end frequencies within the tone section. Both tone control options will add character to the circuit. They are very interactive with each other, as well as the Current control.
