Our Orbit Overdrive is a super simple to use effects pedal with great sounding overdrive tones. This circuit is based on the vintage single op-amp analogue circuits from the 1970s with a few modifications including true bypass and an on/off indicator LED. Other features include:
The “atmosphere” knob controls the volume and “escape velocity“ is the gain control.
Effects pedal dimensions are 113 mm x 60 mm x 31 mm. This effect does not use a battery and is powered by a 9V negative centre power supply only. Current draw is <10mA.
