Inspired by the old tape-echo devices of a time not forgotten, the Tapex 2 packs a hell of a punch in a compact, pedal-board friendly package. And it sounds like heaven too.
This is a beautiful tape echo. Complex and nuanced undertones. The stereo spread is simply magic. The preamp pushes my amp gloriously. This is now a subtle always on pedal for me. Add the trick of utilising the preset foot switch for freak out moments and you have it all. Straightforward layout and design. Love it!
