PAST AND FUTURE COMBINED
True to the Diamond design ethos of our dBBD’s hybrid analog architecture, Dark Cloud unlocks a new frontier in delay technology which was once deemed unobtainable by standard BBD circuit.
Powered by an embedded system, the Dark Cloud seamlessly blends input and output signals, crafting Tape, Harmonic, and Reverse delays with the organic warmth of analog companding and the meticulous precision of digital control.
Where analog warmth meets digital precision, the Dark Cloud redefines delay effects to create a pedal like no other.
DIGITAL BUCKET BRIDGAGE TECHNOLOGY
Combining the character of analog Companding and Anti-Aliasing with an embedded system delay line, the Dark Cloud flawlessly delivers the warmth and charm of an analog delay while offering three distinct and creative delay modes.
THREE DISTINCT AND CREATIVE DELAY MODES
· TAPE DELAY: Inspired by the Counter Point, this mode delivers a warm, saturated delay with tape-like warble due to its perfectly synced modulation and up to 1000ms of delay time.
· HARMONIC DELAY: A favorite from Quantum Leap, it creates either a delayed octave or fifth above the input signal. The analog feedback acts like a harmonic tone control, creating enchanting upward spirals like musical lightning in a dark sky.
· REVERSE DELAY: This new feature plays a classic delay backward, offering a smooth and LoFi reversed delay with an expanded time range. The analog feedback causes the repeats to alternate between reversed and forward playback, like echoes bouncing through a stormy canyon.
TAP TEMPO
Offering 3 distinct tap divisions including quarter note, eighth note and dotted eighth note settings, the Dark Cloud is always in perfect sync with the player.
