The Saturnine pays tribute to one of the most famous Japanese fuzz pedals the FZ-2.
One of the most versatile dirt pedals one can own, it can produce one extremely loud boost effect and two different fuzz tones.
It has a classic, modern vintage fuzz tone where you can instantly get the Electric Wizard tone!
One for the doomiest of doomers, the Saturnine offers two fuzzes inspired by Japanese fuzzes of yore. Fuzz Mode 1 offers a mid-saturated fuzz with a sympathetic higher octave whereas Fuzz Mode 2 purports a heavily scooped Fuzz that is perfect with lower frequency instruments like bass or downtuned guitar. Mode 3 is a boost with no saturation. All modes feature an active Bass and Treble control.
The Saturnine is housed inside a vintage style large Heavy Duty die-cast aluminium enclosure (170~190mm X 120mm)
CONTROLS
As previously mentioned, the Saturnine produces 3 different tones. Two fuzzes and a boost that you can get by turning the ‘MODE’ rotary switch.
-The level controls the overall volume of the effect (apart from the boost which is controlled solely by the gain control)
-The gain control that controls the amount of saturation
-The high control that controls the amount of treble
-The low control that controls the amount of bass.

To use it plug your instrument or other effect output to the top right side of the pedal and the amp or other effect input to the top left side of the pedal and prepare yourself to be crushed!
It can be powered up either by a 9V battery, or by a standard 9V adapter (like the boss ones with negative in the centre). The DC input is at the top side of the pedal, between the instrument input and output.
To make your battery last longer, please unplug the pedal’s input after using it.
