Magawa takes the popular distortion platform and adds a handful of flexible mods for the widest possible range of tones. Contour is the popular Ruetz mod I learned about from my friend Dan at Beavis Audio back in the early 2000s. Texture allows you to move the clipping threshold from fully clipped to no diode clipping and everywhere inbetween. The classic silicon diode tone is here as well as an asymmetrical germanium mode for added compression and softer edges.
Oh and I flipped the direction of the Filter pot because I like turning up for more treble rather than turning down.
