The Dubtronics Audio SLI is a two-channel passive line isolator pedal designed to fit on your pedal board.
An amp modelling/capture device (such as the Walrus ACS-1, Strymon Iridium, ToneX, UAFX amp pedals, Strymon Iridium, BOSS IR200, and Ampero mini), keyboard or percussion pads with low impedance unbalanced outputs running into a DI box can drop your signal up to 20dB.
The SLI converts your unbalanced signals to balanced signals using full frequency response transformers connected to XLR outputs. It keeps your signal at full volume and tone intact to your audio interface or front-of-house mixer. It also provides a ground lift to help eliminate ground loop hum and buzz encountered in audio systems.
In addition, transformer isolation ensures that phantom power from the mixing console doesn’t damage your effects pedals.
